About

Welcome to my little block on the internet. I’m Brian Chow, but very few people ever refer to me as Brian. Everybody calls me Chow. In fact, there are people who don’t even know that my name is Brian, they think my first name is Chow, and I assume they don’t know what my surname is. It’s a long story, but the name is now stuck, and I find myself referring to myself as Chow instead of Brian nowadays.

I’m in my mid twenties and call the San Francisco Bay Area my home. I moved here with my family when I was in my teens after living in numerous places in my earlier childhood. I was born in Hong Kong and have moved around all over the place since I was 4 years old. I’ve never lived in one place for more than 4 years, ever. I’ve been to 13 schools and find myself lucky to have friends around the globe.

I enjoy the company of my friends first and foremost, but I also like to take some time for photography, traveling, racing, and being a geek. I’m an IT guy, even though I got a Communications degree from UC Davis. I fell into the IT job after University and have slowly evolved from doing computer work to now managing business development projects for a local distribution company.

That just about sums up the brief biography of me. I hope you enjoy browsing through my site, I have certainly enjoyed putting it together and continually documenting my experiences throughout the years.

In the end...

I never thought about how you would "end" a website. How do you conclude a story which continues on and on? I don't know, so there will be no real ending here. Instead, here are some credits to the individuals who have been meaningful to me, and I would like to make this permanent space for all those individuals. My parents and my friends are the most important people in my life. They need no introduction and no names need to be mentioned. They know who they are and what they mean to me.
